Incomplete upload

Post by dstonek »

I am testing jimageFilter. Drag and drop jpgs works fine.
I deliberately change the page while resizing-uploading to see what happened.
The process stopped, as expected.
The problem I found is that restarting uploads, the first image was not scaled, a 4MB image was uploaded instead of a less than 100KB one. The rest of the images were processed regulary.
Thanks,
Daniel
PS: You know that tests must involve all sort of actions users are able to perform

You pressed "Back" in browser while scaling and then you pressed "Next" in browser to get the applet again, correct ? Then you drag&drop images again, correct ?

Not exactly. I followed certain link and then I went back.
I always have to test using File-Open (sometimes Copy-Paste). Drag 'n drop does not work here (Ubuntu & Firefox)
Thanks,
Daniel

I'm not sure about changing from POST to PUT upload method.
For other reasons I have a hidden layer (display:none) with a semitransparent background that covers the hole page but the applet.
Is there a way (JS?) to set display:block for that layer when the applet starts working resizing, watermarking and uploading?
It only would disable all buttons and links but "back" button. I don't care about this because I would display a warning same time.
