I am testing out JImageUpload 2.5 with JFileUpload 2.5 - both are the free/trial Pro downloads. I am getting the following error when trying to run the Image Upload applet. What is interesting, is that there is a reference to JImageUpload 2.3, which, I do not think is anywhere on my system. This is the line I think is breaking INFO: JImageUpload 2.3 FINAL.001
java.lang.NoSuchMethodError: jfileupload.transfer.client.util.Conf.L(Ljava/lang/String;)Ljava/lang/String;

Are you sure you've downloaded both 2.5 versions ?
Could you clean your Java cache ?
Start->Control panel->Java->First tab->Delete temporary files->Apply.

Also, could you try our online demo:

I am now working in Ubuntu 10, on Firefox 3.6. I upgraded to JFileUpload/JFileImage/Jsapi 2.6 and the JImageUpload applet still shows it is running 2.5 (Help>About). Do you know how to clear cache for Icedtea npr web browser plugin on Firefox? I have no Java control panel. I'm not even sure if it is the plugin that you clear cache on...I see no options under Firefox or Ubuntu options. Thanks.
