Whitespace around applet

Post by willkostelecky »

I hope (and suspect) there is something simple that I am missing here. I just bought the app and am trying to cosmetically integrate it into my upload form. I have stretched the applet window to 300px wide but there is still a white area around the applet, top right, and bottom. Here is an image http://www.flickr.com/photos/its-unique/5620011132/ that shows what I mean (Firefox Version 3.6.16). This is a stripped down version of your example file on a silver background. Interestingly, the applet fills the box when viewed with Chrome? http://www.flickr.com/photos/its-unique/5622350646/. Oh, heck, just upgraded to FF 4.0 and it works fine there. Here is the cut down version of your demo. http://ftp.its-unique.com/image-expo/Up ... aling.html

After further research...this only seems to be an issue with 3.6 of Firefox, at least from what I can test. Feel free to ignore this post!

Thanks,
Will

Strange, did you update all WIDTH and HEIGHT parameters in JavaScript?

In answer to your question...absolutely. But unless you see an issue with the link that I posted this is a red herring. I just tested it on another Mac with the older Firefox and it worked there. The installation of Firefox on my primary computer must have had an issue. I can not duplicate this as I have upgraded!

Thanks for your response,
Will
