SHA2 Certificates

I have a client complaining that jfileupload crashes browsers when used in conjunction with an SHA2 SSL cert. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?
The forums here are entirely devoid of the term SHA2 (or any variant thereof) so my instinct is that the reports are in error but I thought I should put an all-call out just in case.
